Ice, Ice, Baby

Today it is 74 degrees here in Loveland. My tulips are so confused--they started coming up a month ago. Anyway, Elizabeth and I decided to go to the park across the street. I took Zoe with us because she never gets walked and I'm sure she is sick of only seeing our back yard. We were there for a little while and Zoe got covered with grass. I brought her home and turned the hose on in the back yard to wash her off. Big mistake. Elizabeth grabbed a bucket and filled it with water after I was done. She loves playing in the water. She asked if she could get her swimming suit on. This is how she spends her summer days--playing in buckets of water in our back yard. I told her she couldn't put on her swimming suit, so she pulled up her leggings and stomped and played in the buckets anyway. She came in the house a few minutes later with her hair half soaked. I stupidly told her to not get too wet.  She replied--" Well, the ice cube channel told me too". I have no idea where that came from. Its not like I EVER watch the cooking channel, weather channel etc. It made me chuckle. I guess we can change her clothes later.

At least she wanted to put on a bathing suit when it's in the 70s outside. Aurora always asks when it's raining outside (whether it's 20 or 70 degrees). Sounds like you guys enjoyed your pretty spring day!

Yes, enjoy away. It's 10 degrees outside today with a 5 degree wind chill. Brrrr. But I feel all warm inside thinking about Elizabeth playing in the water and your tulips peeking up through the dirt, ahhhh.
